Hello Lincolnsounds

I am new to the area (in the process of moving up from Essex) and was looking to join a choir - something Ive always wanted to do but have no experience. Your choir looks fantastic!!  I just what the process was for joining and if you have any more workshops planned.

We certainly are Angie - always happy to have new members.  We currently have 7 prospective members going through the audition process.  How about coming along to one of our rehearsals?  You never know - you might want to join on the spot!!

Sorry you missed out on our workshop, but I've no doubt we'll have another one. If you want to find out what we do and you've got a free Thursday evening, why don't you come along to one of our rehearsals at the Grandstand, Carholme Road, Lincoln, starting at 7.30pm. We'd love to see you there.

I am a sixth form student at Christ's Hospital School and I really wanted to go to your 1 day workshop but unfortunately I was unable to afford it and would have missed the concert because of work. 

I wondered if there was anyother way I could get involved?

I have been singing for a few years now and would like to get some performance experience before hopefully applying for music college. I have also had experience of performing in choirs.

As always your continued support is fantastic.

We all had a great time in Birmingham, the result wasn't maybe what we hoped for but hey ho, as you say there is more to us than just six minutes!!

I'm sure there are a few of us travelling to see you guys in your annual competition, just be prepared for false eyelashes this year!!

When I drove back for Harmony Lincs sing out Saturday night I had no idea about the scores ,I was very surprised to hear that you were all upset with your placing in the comnpoetition .All I can say is that I really did enjoy your performance and thought just maybe the bass section was just a bit OTT they were really sounding great but just maybe the judges thought it was a bass heavy performance . It was great to see you all any way and I truly thought you sounded great ,as did the people I was sitting with .Keep up the good work ladies ,there is more to your club that just Convention .Hope to see a few of you at our Convention at the end of May :Dxx

Just a big good luck to you all at the Birmingham Symphony Hall for the 2011 Convention will be there on the Saturday to support you all looking very much forward to hearing you its been a while now since I last heard you !!!!! errrrr on no it was at the Lincoln Feastival and you all sounded and looked great , can you make it another medal performance again this year ????? Course You Can :D.

Hi Kay, Thanks for contacting us.  Of course we'd be delighted for you to come to our rehearsals at the Grandstand in Lincoln (A57) where you would be most welcome on any  Thursday evening, 7.30 to 10pm.  It would be great to meet you and your Aussie friend.  If she sings in a Sweet Adelines chorus in Australia, she may even know some of our songs and could join us on the risers.
